What are you doing?.?.?

Well it has been a really long time since I blogged. I have been so busy even with AJ being gone. I will try to get everything in that has happened. Well maybe not everything. This is going to be a long blog!

I think Friday is a good place to start. Work went really well because I had only Teddy mostly the whole day because Madeleine was at school. He wanted to go see Diezel and Moose. When we got to my house we took the boys outside to play ball and after awhile I looked down at Diezel's paw and it was covered in blood. We went in the house and I cleaned his paw off and his nail looked awful. I did want every American would do.... I went and looked it up on the internet because the internet is always correct. lol. His nail looked like he had this big huge skin thing hanging from it. I realized that his nailed has split from the kwik. Never in my life have I seen the kwik. I called his vet McKay's Mill Animal Hospital. They said to clean it with warm water and put peroxide on it and to come up to the vet when I could. Well I did just that. His nail looked to nasty not to go see the vet. Teddy and I loaded up Diezel in the BMW and we were off the the hospital. At first the doctor couldn't see us cause she just started surgery so we were loading Diezel back up and they called us back in because they didn't want us to have to come back the next day. Dr. Merrell came out of surgery to look at Diezel's paw. They are so awesome there. I love them, so glad I chose them when I was looking for a vet. They just trimmed up Diezel's nails (for free) and told me that they couldn't fix that nail because the nail hadn't separated enough from the kwik and that it would just heal itself. Thank you McKay's Mill!

After work I met my bestie Christina. You should check out her new blog Gypsie Heart. We went to one of my favorite restaurants of all time Chuy's
Ended up ordering chicken fajitas
Chuy's chips are the best
The hub cap room

After dinner we went over to the theatre to see Red Riding Hood. That movie was a waste of time. Man the first movie I have seen since Harry Potter and it was horrible. GRRRR. The actors were just tooooo creeping especially the grandmother. I do hand it to them you never really knew who the wolf was though not until the end of the movie. I mean someone else might been able to figure it out but I couldn't. Who's afraid of the big bad wolf, the big bad wolf, who's afraid of the big bad wolf?

Saturday, I wanted to do a bunch. I got up and of course I started to feel like I was getting sick. Of course at the height of my energy I get sick! What is new! I hate my immune system! I did end up working out that morning. Then I went shopping for AJ! I got his diploma in the mail!!!!!!! GO AJ!!!! Granted, yes he has had for a year now but we actually got the piece of paper since we paid his bill off. I wanted to get it framed without him knowing.
I also bought him 4 new t-shirts because I was so proud of him! After shopping, I ended up cleaning out the outside storage, and going through our stuff to down size and give to Good Will. My bestie Christina came and brought Gracie Lou, her golden retriever to meet Moose. Moose was so confused about another dog coming into our home. Diezel of course was super excited about seeing his girlfriend. I don't think Moose liked her very much. I don't know why. He seemed to try to dominate her the whole time. Well at least he wanted to dominate something. We haven't had a problem with that since he got neutered. Oh well, hopefully when he see's her more it will get better. Maybe we should of introduced them outside. Christina and I went and did some more shopping. We came back and watch the movie Morning Glory. It was a very slow movie. I think I might have been more entertained during Red Riding Hood. lol. I wanted to get up and do something during the movie.

Sunday, I was supposed to go to church. I planned on going to church but Saturday night I felt awful. So I decided to sleep in and try to get rid of this cold before it got worse. I didn't do anything all day Sunday. I couldn't even tell you what I did. lol. I know I woke up at 12:30. I also know that I had an extremely hard time falling asleep because I slept in and because of the time change.

All I did Monday was work and clean. . . . Couldn't wait to see AJ on Tuesday. We got to skype that night :)

Well today is Tuesday and it was a wonderful Tuesday. Madeleine, Teddy, and I went to story time, Sonic, and then we went and picked AJ up from the airport. It was nice having him home today. It will be nice to have him sleep in our bed since I normally have a hard time knowing he is not here and trying to sleep. I wanted to celebrate him getting his diploma! So I made dinner, got dessert, and now we are watching Celebrity Apprentice. Before, we sat down to watch tv well actually during it Diezel got up and started to pee a river. That dog had to go. It wasn't his fault. I wish I could of gotten a picture of AJ holding a bowl under Diezel to catch his urine.. HAHAHAHAHA. He filled a whole bowl full. That was his first accident in a very long time.

The recipe from dinner will be on the previous blog. We had cupcakes for dessert and they were good. The were called Two Faced from Ivey Cake. These cupcakes are amazing. My favorite is the cream cheese frosting. YUM!

This is what the boys wanted to do while we watched tv.

Sorry for the extremely long blog. Had to get caught up!

The aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, than what to think - rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load the memory with thoughts of other men.  ~Bill Beattie
