Happy 2nd Birthday Moose!
Today, Moose turned two years old. Happy Birthday Moose! We had a nice day! We went to church and went to Blue Coast Burrito with some peeps from church. When we got home from church I loaded Moose up into the car to go to Petsmart for the first time with me and so he could pick out a couple of toys. All Moose wanted to do at the store was smell everything and tell everyone "hi" including the people. Here are some of the pictures we took today.
This is the ball we got at Petsmart... After Petsmart we went to Pet super market to look at some other toys. They have a better selection of no stuffing toys. We ended up getting one that had a place to put a water bottle. No stuffing and a water bottle inside what a great toy!
I hope you guys have had a wonderful Sunday. I know we did! I hope Monday morning isn't too awful for you.

Disaster Area
Well today was the day I decided to start packing for our move on Saturday. I know early start for only a one bedroom apartment at the moment. I want to make the move as easy as possible for me and the lovely people helping out! I did pretty well. I took everything off the walls and put stuff in boxes. I mean that is what your supposed to do, right? On occasion, I would sit down and watch a movie lol. I mean I can't pack my clothes, the kitchen, or the bathroom up yet.. Those are necessities. I did get about 5 boxes and one suit case packed. The dogs had no clue what was going on and Diezel wanted to get into everything.
My dvd case with nothing on it.. What's a girl to watch? |
Their is nothing on my walls, except for a clock and a calendar. |
Diezel enjoying the window being open. |
Now my house is a complete disaster area.. Not my type of place to live in. If you didn't know... I am border line OCD (diagnosed by myself of course). I am only like this when I am living with someone and of course that has been several years with roommates in college and now a husband. When I go home to my parent by myself I could care less where I leave things.. That is the only time I like to be messy.. Shhhh don't tell anyone.
By the time AJ got home for his break. It was 2pm and I was all packed out. I wanted to go try this new burger place in downtown franklin called Riff Burgers. This place seriously just opened up this week. It was packed at 2 pm. The line was super long and the people at the register let just say things were not going well for them. Don't they know when you have two registers you use both of them to take orders and pay. This is not what they were doing... One was taking orders and one was taking the money. Everything moved so slow. I customized my burger with bacon, romaine lettuce, feta, mayo, and ketchup. It was really good. I also got an order of fries but the amount was to much for me to eat. That was the first red meat I had in several weeks.
After we got home, AJ had to go back to work.. He rode his motorcycle. Cause it was another beautiful day. I had to take his work uniform and drop it off so it looked nice. I decided to take the dogs with me so we could go to the dog park. Two days in a row! They were waiting so patiently....
I got the boys loaded in the car, started it up, and rolled the windows down... Before I knew it Moose had jumped out the window... My car was parked.. Thank heavens. Silly dog wanted to go say "Hi" to another dog that he saw... I think I almost had a heart attack when that happen. Never had a dog that did that to me... Seen it happen but not to me.. They had a really good time at the park.. They were pooped the rest of the night...
I hope you had a fabulous Saturday!
"Maybe mistake are what make our fate... without them what would shape our lives? Maybe if we had never veered off course we wouldn't fall in love, have babies, or be who we are. After all, things change, so do cities, people come into your life and they go. But it's comforting to know that the ones you love are always in your heart... and if you're very lucky, a plane ride away." |

Purses vs. Shoes
Most women like shoes...
I could care less about shoes...
I love purses, and of courses I like designer purses. I wish I could buy every purse I liked. I own three designer purses. Two because the love of my life bought me them when we were dating. One, that my mom, dad, and sister bought me. I only own 4 purses. I am not a nut. I can have wishes. Normally, I don't buy designer purses. If I like a purse I want it to last a long time. I really wear my purses. I own two Dooney & Burke's and one beijo. I really like vera bradley as well.
Their is actually a place online where you can rent handbags... HAHAHAHA. Rent Handbags.. I never knew this actually was real. I thought Jennifer Hudson from Sex and the City the movie was just joking when she actually rent her handbags. Maybe they made it up when Sex and the City came out. Its like $15 for week.. lol
My wish for today is to buy all the purses I want whenever. I know it is a material wish.. I am not a material girl just to make that clear!
Would you rather buy purses or shoes?
What is your wish for the day?.?.? It can be material or it doesn't have to be..
“When you're young, your whole life is about the pursuit of fun. Then, you grow up and learn to be cautious. You could break a bone or a heart. You look before you leap and sometimes you don't leap at all because there's not always someone there to catch you. And in life, there's no safety net. When did it stop being fun and start being scary?”

Patterns and Such
Well recently I got new bedding. I finally decided what I was going to do for pictures behind my bed. At first I wanted my mom to paint me something which is what she did last time and she is fantastic at it.. Here are the three paintings she did for me.
I love them but they are going in our second bedroom with our old comforter set. Here is my new bedding..
Yes, I do know the lamp shade on the right is crooked. It is always like that no matter how many times I try to fix it. AJ gets some wacky dreams while he is sleeping and insists on attacking the lamp and then it falls to the ground. Well he doesn't attack he just some how knocks it over when he is dreaming.
Instead of having my mom do paintings I am going to fabric panels. I went shopping at JoAnn's this weekend and picked out a bunch of pattern samples that I liked. I liked a lot of different kinds.. This is what I decided on though...
This fabric will be some accent pillows on the bed.
This fabric is going to be the panels that go on the wall and maybe some accent pillows for the couch as well.
This is both of the fabrics on my pillow so you can see what it looks like.
So what do you think of the patterns? Did I make a good choice? I may also do a fabric panel in my dinning room of something else or my mom and I might paint something to go in there. Haven't quite figured that one out yet.
AJ works all day today :( I work until 4 and have to go exchange some shirts I bought him for a different size. He liked all the ones I picked out though. Then I have choir practice at 6:30 until about 8. I think we are going to have Publix subs for dinner. My favorite. We will see what AJ wants as well.
I hope you have an amazing day!
